Opening Abeona House 2

January, 2008| Thank you for your interest! Our community has seen incredible success, and demand for space at the Abeona House has greatly exceeded our capacity. We are eager to serve families who are passionate about community-based, high quality early childhood education. We are looking to expand to a second location, and we intend to partner with larger organizations that share our values.

Specifically, we believe that the best childcare exists when parents are involved as true partners and members of our community. Our collective ownership, the true foundation of the Reggio-Emilia philosophy, is one of our greatest strengths. As a Reggio Emilia-inspired school that is also a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, our measure of success is healthy, happy families staying in New Orleans.

Increasing the number of students we serve is the only way to compensate our teachers with a more livable wage and benefits, and to keep tuition affordable for parents.

Abeona House is our trademark, and all Abeona projects will share the Abeona
House name.

If you are interested in joining Abeona House or in partnering with Abeona
to open a second facility, please contact us! We are currently recruiting wait list families to build our second Abeona House. All skills are welcome, from administrative prowess to crafty carpentry, or even just a pair of willing hands. Such collective effort is essential to creating our wonderful school environment. To get involved, please contact Emmy at emmy@abeonahouse.org
